1. Privacy Policy

1.1 Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Roll Credits Studio LLC collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information through Valet, a product of Roll Credits Studio LLC.

By creating an account or using Valet, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Valet is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.

1.2 Information We Collect

Valet may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

Valet may collect account-related information, including:

  • Name.

  • Email address.

  • Login credential or PIN-related authentication information.

  • Account creation date.

  • App settings and preferences.

Optional Location and Weather Information

If you enable weather-aware suggestions, Valet may collect or process:

  • City, ZIP code, or approximate location provided by you.

  • Weather-based location information used to retrieve weather conditions.

  • Weather data associated with outfit suggestions, such as temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity, or forecast conditions.

Weather location information is optional. If you do not enable it, Valet may still provide wardrobe suggestions, but those suggestions may not account for current or forecasted weather.

Location and weather-based location data are closely related. In Valet, both are used to provide weather-aware outfit recommendations. The distinction is that “location” is the place you provide or authorize, while “weather-based location data” is how that place may be used to request weather information.

Wardrobe Information

Valet may collect wardrobe-related information, including:

  • Uploaded clothing photos.

  • Garment metadata, such as clothing type, color, material, style, season, formality, pattern, fit, and similar attributes.

  • Wardrobe categories and tags.

  • Wear history and last-worn dates.

  • Laundry or availability status, if supported.

  • Outfit history and outfit suggestions.

AI Processing Information

Valet may collect or process information used for AI-powered features, including:

  • Clothing photos submitted for garment analysis.

  • Garment metadata used for outfit suggestions.

  • User preferences and context used to generate recommendations.

  • AI outputs, such as suggested metadata, item descriptions, and outfit suggestions.

Calendar and Event Information

If you connect a calendar service, Valet may collect or process calendar-related information, such as:

  • Event titles.

  • Event dates and times.

  • Event locations.

  • Calendar or event context relevant to outfit suggestions.

  • Other event details authorized by you through the connected calendar service.

Valet uses calendar information to provide context-aware outfit suggestions. Calendar access is optional and may be disconnected where supported.

Subscription and Payment Information

Valet may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. If paid features are available, Valet may collect or receive information such as:

  • Subscription status.

  • Product tier.

  • Renewal or expiration status.

  • Payment confirmation metadata.

  • Style pass or credit balances, if applicable.

Payment card numbers and sensitive payment details should be processed by payment providers, app stores, or billing platforms rather than stored directly by Roll Credits Studio LLC.

Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information

Valet may collect:

  • Device type.

  • Operating system.

  • App version.

  • Crash logs.

  • Error logs.

  • Performance diagnostics.

  • General usage information.

  • Security and fraud-prevention signals.

1.3 How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts.

  • Authenticate users.

  • Store and display wardrobe items.

  • Analyze clothing photos.

  • Generate garment metadata.

  • Provide outfit suggestions.

  • Consider weather conditions and temperature.

  • Consider calendar or event context when authorized.

  • Remember user preferences.

  • Track wear history and item availability.

  • Improve, debug, and secure Valet.

  • Provide customer support.

  • Manage paid subscriptions, premium features, style passes, or in-app purchases.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

1.4 Clothing Photos and Metadata

Valet stores clothing photos so users can view and manage their wardrobe inside the app. Valet also stores garment metadata so the app can organize items, make recommendations, and generate outfit suggestions.

In the current intended design, clothing photos may be stored for the user-facing wardrobe, while metadata may be used by AI features and outfit suggestion logic. Some AI analysis may also require the clothing photo itself to be sent to an AI provider for garment recognition.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated metadata and correcting inaccurate information.

1.5 AI Providers

Valet may use third-party AI providers to analyze clothing photos, generate garment metadata, and produce outfit suggestions.

Information sent to AI providers may include clothing photos, clothing metadata, user preferences, weather context, calendar or event context, and other information necessary to provide the requested feature.

We do not intend for users to upload sensitive personal images, images of people, minors, nudity, or private images unrelated to clothing cataloging.

1.6 Weather Providers

If you enable weather-aware suggestions, Valet may use third-party weather providers to retrieve weather conditions and forecasts. To do this, Valet may send a city, ZIP code, approximate location, or other location-related query to the weather provider.

Weather information may be used to suggest clothing appropriate for temperature, precipitation, wind, or general conditions.

1.7 Calendar Providers

Valet may allow users to connect third-party calendar providers, including Google Calendar and, if supported later, Apple Calendar or other calendar services.

Calendar data is used to understand event context and generate outfit suggestions. Valet should request only the calendar access reasonably needed for its outfit recommendation features.

Users may disconnect calendar access through Valet, the third-party provider, or device/account settings where available.

1.8 How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers.

  • Authentication providers.

  • AI providers.

  • Weather providers.

  • Calendar integration providers.

  • Analytics and diagnostics providers.

  • Payment processors or app stores for paid features.

  • Legal, compliance, security, or fraud-prevention providers.

  • Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of exchanging personal information for money. If future advertising, analytics, or data-sharing practices trigger legal opt-out rights, Valet should provide appropriate disclosures and controls.

1.9 Data Storage and Security

Valet may store data using Supabase and other service providers. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect user information.

Valet uses reasonable technical safeguards to help protect your information. Data transmitted between the Valet app and our backend services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Our backend provider, Supabase, also encrypts customer data in transit using TLS.

Please note that Valet is not end-to-end encrypted. This means our backend services may process certain information as needed to provide app functionality, such as wardrobe storage, outfit planning, account access, subscriptions, and style features.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should protect their login credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

1.10 Data Retention

You may delete your Valet account and personal data from within the app at any time. When you confirm deletion, Valet permanently deletes your account, wardrobe items, uploaded clothing photos, preferences, saved outfit history, calendar connection data, and related app data, except where limited records are legally required for security, fraud prevention, tax, or compliance purposes.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Valet, maintain user accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve security, and support business operations.

If a user declines the onboarding agreements, Valet will not create an account and will not save onboarding information to Supabase.

If a user deletes their account, Valet should delete or de-identify associated account, wardrobe, clothing photo, metadata, preference, wear history, and calendar-related data unless retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

1.11 User Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete personal information.

  • Export or obtain a copy of personal information.

  • Withdraw consent for optional features.

  • Disconnect calendar access.

  • Opt out of certain data uses if legally required.

1.12 Children and Minors

Valet is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to create accounts.

If we learn that a user under 18 has created an account, we may delete the account and associated information.

1.13 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may require users to review and accept the updated Privacy Policy before continuing to use Valet.

The effective date and version number will identify the current version.
